On premise data gateway - gateway not visible for normal user?

Hi,

I have gateway that works just fine for Powerbi -> i want to use with powerapps.

I tried to connect Microsoft SQL -> i change to Windows Authecation and the gateway is not visible. That happens when i login as normal user, when i login as admin - i can see the gateway option normally.

Of course i have shared connection with my normal user account -> and also with someone else to test but still nothing.

What should i check now?

I have the same question (0)

I only have option to choose one connection type when creating and it is selected as SQL server :

mmm last screenshot is about a connection to use in a power bi dataset.

To share a datagateway with an user, you must to go to here:
    https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/ext/DataGateways

Select the datagateway and click in Manage users:

After this, you could look for your user and grant the permissions to use the gateway in power apps/power platform:

So in powerapps i need to share gateway with user? Because with Powerbi i only needed to share connection -> gatewat access was only given to admins?

Exactly! The behaviour in power automate/power apps is different. In these case you share the gateway to use by the user when create the conecion in his app or flow.
