Announcements
We recently announced public preview of a new solution component named Settings. Using settings, application authors can, with just a few clicks, activate or configure features for a model-driven app. This allows them to easily and quickly provide a customized experience for end-users. These settings can be created by application authors, administrators, or partners.

Thank you.
About once a month I have a discussion with a development team about how awesome it would be if we had Feature Flags in the Power Platform that allows us to reveal or hide features that we were working on.
Thanks, Anees Ansari and team, it looks like were getting very close. I can't wait to try out the new Settings solution component.
Sounds like this could be a precursor to replacing custom feature flag integrations with 3rd parties like launch darkly or other custom feature flag implementations with d365.
Also is this the first official mention of the async onload feature (which I guess is still in preview)?
Documentation still hasn't mentioned it, so assume it's still technically not available.
@NeilBenson Thank you so much. Looking forward to you trying these out and your feedback.
@eleung83 Thanks. I am not too familiar with the 3rd party integration. For the async onload feature, you can use it. Documentation will be updated soon.
@anees Do you have any examples of someone using the setting in a model-driven app? The best I can see is the ability to read it from a script added to a form, but we already have ways to modify access to a form.
It would be nice to be able to modify access to an entire area, subarea, group, view in an app based on a setting. E.g., having a setting called "New Feature (on/off)" and then setting an area to only be visible if that value is true. At this time, I can't see any practical use for the setting component.
Thanks.
