Hi,
I'm building an app for my client and the specific needs are as follows:
The app should allow the end user to select an Excel file from a OneDrive for Business folder. Once they select the Excel file, the records should be displayed on the screen and also allows them to 'Cancel' if they do not want to continue with the Excel file. If they accept the file, then those records should be stored in the existing SQL table which already contains some records.
I was able to create connections to the SQL table and the Excel file which is stored in the OneDrive. The app displays on different screens - records from the Excel file and from the SQL table. Later, the app stores the data from the Excel file to the SQL table using the Patch function, but it throws an error if the same records are present in the Excel file. I understand, the Excel file is the static copy in the Power apps. Thus, I want to give the option to the end user to select another Excel file now. I have tried using Attachments Control, but that does not display the records and does not store the records in the SQL table.
Do I need to use the Power Automate flow or it is achievable from Power Apps?
I'm a newbie with Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate etc. so any help to resolve the issue would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
