Hid the assign button on main form toolbar but sometimes still appears to my users

Hi

Yesterday I edited the toolbar for one of the main form tables so to hide the Assign button, and replace it with a our custom Assign button which calls a custom page. I published the toolbar and page,  but I notice some of my test users are still seeing the previous Assign. Also the Assign button seems now to be readonly and not hidden.

Is this unpredictable behaviour normal?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

I'm old-school so I would recommend relying on Ribbon customization through Ribbon Workbench and not on Command Bar editor that looks cool and easy to use but still has some bugs and issues here and there.

    Hi @a33ik

I get what you mean.  I think that means creating a separate solution and adding my table to it then connecting with the XRMToolbox->RibbonBar editor.  Not sure if I will end up deploying this solution to test as well as my main solution.

Update:  I have tested my main form a few times today and so far I have only seen my custom command and not the default Assign button.  Will keep checking before reaching out for the RibbonBar editor.
