Update person field using a text field that contains employee's email address within the same list

I have a current flow that loops through an Excel file and creates items to a list for each row listed. It comes with an email column recorded in the SP List in a text field called "Email."

Can I take that email address and update a person and groups field in Power Automate?

Hi @lantzer ,

Yes. If the person field do not allow multiple selections , you could use the user email to update the person column directly. Please check this post:

I figured out I could easily pass the "Email" value from my get action, which works perfectly. Thank you, @v-bofeng-msft, for the assist!
