Updating image field in Flow

(0) ShareShare

Pretty new to flow and finding my feet, I'm looking to create a service status flow that does roughly the following:

- When a field "Status" in a Sharepoint list "Service Status" is updated, depending on the status, another field is updated.

So, IF status = Online

Update, img field to [URLOFIMAGE]

The issue I come across, is in Flow, the field "img" is not available to update? The field is of type Hyperlink or Picture, and is formatted as Picture.

Am I missing something, or is it not supported?

    Hi,

Update or Create item do not show the picture columns. You need the HTTP Post to update the column.

    Please follow this article:

I was having the same issue. Instead of using the "image" or "picture" column type, I used "hyperlink" and then formatted the column with JSON as described on: https://sharepoint.stackexchange.com/questions/255389/in-a-sharepoint-list-display-an-image-field-type-hyperlink-or-picture

The hyperlink is passed into the column with the flow since PowerAutomate seems to have no issue with the hyperlink column type, then the list displays it as an image.

I'd love to learn if there's a way to display multiple images within this column for a single item in the list, using mulitple hyperlinks to image location. I'd imagine that it might be possible with the multi-line column type, enabling Rich Text, but I haven't touched JSON beyond the copy-paste, from above example.
