Using a People Object to determine who an email is sent to

Hello,

I am fairly new to using Power Automate. I have created a basic flow that automatically sends an email to a specific person when a form has been submitted through Microsoft Lists. We have hired multiple people to take on the role that a singular person has been handling up to this point. It has been asked to have an email sent to a different person based on the manager that was put into the form. It is currently set up as a person type in Microsoft Lists.

What is the best way to go about making this change?

    Hi @Anonymous
Can you share more details of the form field that is requesting for manager selection. Is it of type options?

Also, is the manager related data received via Forms its First Name+SureName? Its email address? Can you provide an example?
THe more information context, the faster you will receive a valuable feedback
    Thanx!

    Hi @efialttes ,

Apologies for the lack of clarification on my part. I was unsure what all I needed to add. The form itself is through Sharepoint/Microsoft List. The agents submit the form enter their information, the date, and their manager's information.

Yes, the Department Manager Field is of the Person or Group type. It allows for the filed to type in either the manager's name or the email address. The display name is Firstname Lastname, and for the company most emails tend to follow the track of "firstname.lastname@companyname.com" .

The current plan is to have the email sent to one of four people depending on the manager that is inputed.

Please let me know if you need anymore information, and thank you so much for the help!

Is the form already designed? If so, can you share a copy?
    Thanx!

    Hey @efialttes ,

Unfortunately the tool is active, and I am unable to make a copy of it since it contains sensitive information. However, I realized that I was over complicating the issue, and could solve the issue by making multiple conditions to check if the "Department Manager DisplayName" is equal to the Manager's names. And on testing this worked for what was asked. I had completely overlooked this when I was looking for answers initially.

Apologies for the confusion, and thanks again for the help!
