Inserting Form Responses into Email Body

Hi There!

Completely new to forms and power automate - trying to determine if there is a way to insert responses and questions from a form into the body of an email. So if Someone submits a survey, instead of having to visit that survey response form the responses are there in the message body.

Additionally, I would love to have any attachments added to the email as well (where possible).

Is this a possibility?

Thank you!

Devon

    Hi @devatron

Please, have a look at the Send an Outlook email for each Microsoft Forms survey response template.

    Hope it helps.

Hi @fchopo  Thank you - I am digging into this automation but it doesn't intuitively explain HOW to get responses into the body of the email. Right now all that offers is how to set up a trigger alerting someone when a response is made. As far as I can tell here at least.

    Hi @ChristianAbata  - thank you.

It seems like this may work. I am including a snap of the current flow I built based on your image. For the "Get Response Details" option - what input ID should I be using? This is very plug and play for me right now as I am wholly unfamiliar with JSON and these other java functions.

The only response ID available to me is the list of responses you see in the image and I am unsure of what to enter for the Input under compose. I would have thought it would be related to the response details flow above the compose box but seems it is not.

Thoughts? And also thank you very much!

hi @devatron  Everythink you need to add the responses in you email body and for the questions you need to type the question manually.

in your first compose need to pass the variable of you file

And in json response the output of your compose.

Then the schema depends on you answer of the forms.

    Follow this steps.
