Help - Solution Idea - Convert MKV to MP4 via Flow

Need:

Situation:

I have motion-detection video clips from my Axis (brand) surviellance cameras sent to a Synology NAS device @ my house.

The Synology NAS tool, then, syncs those clips to OneDrive.

Works fine.

Problem:

The Axis camera can only format those video clips to MKV format.  OneDrive's web and mobile client apps won't play MKV files so, i can't review the video clips on my iPhone.

(Yes, i'm aware that the Synology NAS also includes it's own video-capture tool, but for several specific reasons, I can't use it.)

Help:

Is there a flow I could write that would:  1) take files in the OneDrive folder --> 2) pass them to a cloud based converter tool --> 3) return to OneDrive a MP4 file in it's place --> 4) delete the MKV file ?

Thanks for any thoughts you may have.

-Eric

Wondering if you were able to set up a CloudConvert custom connector.  Any information on formatting would be huge...

Are there plans to use Azure Media Servcies coupled with Office 365 Video in order to bring this functionality to Flow?

Thanks.  I'm looking @ https://cloudconvert.com/api.  It appears to offer what I need & a great price point.

I'm not a developer.  I'm not sure what swagger is. Perhaps in the future this service will be offered within Flow (as it is Zapier).

    Hi Eric,

Thanks for reaching out. Currently we don't support video format conversion. If the 3rd party conversion tool provide API, we might be able to make it a custom api by uploading the swagger for that API.
