What are the new virtual-field and virtual-dataset template types

While creating yet another control I see that we now have 2 more template types to play with virtual-field and virtual-dataset

I can see that they are designed to support react (the HelloWorld.tsx file is a bit of a clue) but does anyone have any more details and when will see the updated ComponentFramework with which we can build them?

@ben-thompson @rajyraman  These templates that were exposed in a tooling release aren't isn't fully ready for prime time, and are likely to change significantly before release. I don't recommend using them at all at this time; it will be removed in a release soon.

I hope you are right @rajyraman  - currently each control has its own version of fluent ui and react bundled - giving it a heavy footprint - loading the control into the Power Apps instance of react and fluent is going to be awesome! Let’s hope this is released soon.

Please ignore for now, these options got exposed accidentally as part of an internal 1st party project which is not ready yet (or anytime soon for external consumption)

We are tracking this and will update the CLI to remove these. Sorry for the confusion.

@ben-thompson - Good pickup Ben. There is nothing mentioned about these additional component types in the documentation or release notes. The typings (1.2.1) are also stale. I was able to build and deploy the component by using ts-nocheck. The component mounted and rendered on the model driven form without any issues. These new types are to probably to make it easy for people who are using React already, and mount the component directly to vdom.

@HemantG@GregHurlmanMSFT- Any official word, documentation on these 2 additional types?
