Hello everyone,

I need to export data from PowerBI to excel with power automate.

I created the following flow, using the following query to extract the data from powerBI.

Yet I don't undestand, as my flow works but puts empty data in my excel file (see last picture below) :

Please someone could help me through this ?

Thanks !

    Hi , @Raphael33

Can you check your output in your flow run history if this action return the correct array :

And how do you configure in your Apply to each and add a row in a table action?

    Best Regards,

    Hey,

Here is the output of my query:

    Raphael33_0-1702455132648.png

Concerning the Apply to each, it's parameter is the action PowerBI "Rows of the first table" and I apply it into the following Excel file. I don't understand why it returns a blank table in excel...

    Hi , @Raphael33

In your first action, dose it get your right value here ?

    vyueyunmsft_0-1702456751430.png

And what is your raw Excel file first in your side ? Dose the Excel file contains data?

    Best Regards,

    Yueyun Zhang

Yes it shows the good values in the output.

The Excel file is raw, I need to update it once a week with that flow.

The problem is that when I run the flow, it should fill the rows with the data. Instead, it fills blank rows.

Here is how my excel file looks like :

    Hi , @Raphael33

Can you see blow this Excel file has data. As add a row in a table will add the row in the last row in your Excel file including your blank row.

And did you put the value in this action for the column?

Yes, I applied this in the "Apply to Each" :

All the steps seem to be correct ?

    Hi , @Raphael33

I test it in my side , this is my Excel file :

    vyueyunmsft_0-1702458392174.png

This is my test result in my table:

This is my flow , do you add the value you need to add in the "Add a row in a table" action:

    vyueyunmsft_2-1702458793070.png

    item()?['YourfieldName']

You can see it in here:

I looked for the "Columns" and "Value" inputs but I only have these fields :

Is there something I am missing ?

    Hi, @Raphael33

    Thanks for your quick response!

The [Column] and [Value] is just my header/Column Name in my Excel file:

    vyueyunmsft_0-1702517202705.jpeg

So you just need to put the value you need to add in this two columns.

In your side , you need to put the :

    item()?['S06_Retroactive_Stocks_Equation(CDC V------']

You can copy this field name in your flow run history:

    Best Regards,

    Yueyun Zhang
