Downloads not supported in Chrome. Consider using Automation Browser

Hi

I have an internal invoicing system which allows me to download files. I would like this to download automatically. I have the UI flow using PA Desktop connected to it and it clicks the 'download' but i then get the message to consider using 'Automation browser'. What is that ? I cannot use Selenium IDE because the download does not happen automatically. I need to click 'save'. Any ideas ?

    Hi, I could not use Selenium (browser) because with this internal system i have to click 'save' (i.e. Windows) for the download . So I was using power automate desktop where i selected 'web automation' 'launch new chrome'. i was able to use the 'click download link on web page' to download the file which tries to download but i then get the message

    The Automation browser is a simplified version of the Internet Explorer:

    Hello!

    What I did to workaround this is using the Desktop recorder for the download step:

    1. Record from the web all the steps you need in the browser

    2. When you reach the download step stop the web recording and turn on the desktop recorder and record the download and save steps.

    3. Do any additional recording in the web recorder.
