The basic question from year 2018 seems to be not answered.

I like ask some best practices how to manage D365FO test environment and Power apps test environments for testing Power Apps from several Power Apps vendors when vendors have separate development environments. All vendors have also separate Power Apps test environments whick ones are linked to D365FO Test environment?

When you work with multiple vendors - make sure the development environment for each vendor is different.
This is possible by creating separate environments and allocating security group to each environment. Each vendor group can be assigned to specific security group. This way data isolation across vendors are handled.

For integrating data between PowerApps and D365 FO we can use APIs or data integration tools.
Microsoft recommends dual-write which provides tightly coupled, bidirectional integration between finance and operations apps and Data verse.

To summarize, there no specific environment guidance in working with D365FO and PP PowerApps than Dataverse in integrations?
No pitfalls from environments in licensing if you try to run Power Apps with D365FO (full licenses)?
