In my organization, I have employees who work for us for 1-2 months out of the year. When they leave, I offboard them, and when they come back, I onboard them. This creates a problem in our Power Apps environment, because Power Apps creates a duplicate user account for the person, which makes sense because it has no way of knowing that the "new person" is the same as the old person.
The reason I'm posting this in Power Automate is because I'm looking for a way to automate the following process I currently have to do manually for each employee in this scenario.
- In Power Apps admin center, search for the employee's email address.
- If only the old account shows up, click "Add user" and manually add the new user and assign security roles.
- Select the old account and click "Reassign records" and reassign all records to the new account.
- Delete, and then permanently delete the old account.
Are there documented API calls that I could use to make create a custom connector for steps 2, 3, and 4?
