Data missing from left nav menu

I created an app from a template... and the left nav does not contain the link for the DATA. How do I add it? I cannot find a way to refresh my data sources without this left nav item.

Hi @hnordenberg ,
Could you provide more information on this? Which specific template have you choose and from where? Secondly, have you tried to create a blank app and noticed the data source option on there?

Yes, I have a number of other apps and all of them show the data in the left nav, with the cylinder icon. The template I am using is Power Apps Training for Office.

have you checked the authoring version under settings/support is the recommended version?
