Hi There,
I am looking to create a flow to send an email when someone adds a comment to a SharePoint list item. Not had much luck with various ways I have found on the internet.
Fairly new to Power Automate but eager to learn.

Hi @jbrines :
Thanks for your feedback, the "When comment is added in item" trigger is not supported in SharePoint connector of Microsoft Flow currently, if you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please vote for this ideal:
https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Automate-Ideas/A-comment-on-sharepoint-as-a-Flow-trigger/idi-p/282050
I suggest you choose one of the following two alternatives:
Solution1:Manually trigger flow after selecting item
Solution2:Create a new comments column
Let the user fill in the comments in this newly created column, and then use the "When an item is created of modified" trigger to automatically trigger the flow.
Reference Expression:
empty(triggerOutputs()?['body/Comments'])

Hi Bof,
I have voted for the change.
Your second option then led me to a different solution. I already had another comments column there but on investigation I found that it had an option append changes to existing text. So when enabled that then worked for an existing flow that I have enabled.
Thanks
