Choices objects in a Solution

Greetings! I am looking for guidance on how to access to Choice values I created in a Power Apps solution. For example, say I have "Test Choices" created, with two options Choice 1 and Choice 2.

In Power Apps Studio, when I try to connect to Test Choices, I cannot find it as a reference data source so I can't use Choices() function.

Is there a way to access this 'table' or this is actually not possible and those Choices can only be used as Dataverse table column reference?

Choices(TableName.'Test Choices')

Hey ANB - This is not a table. It is just global choices created in a Solution.

Hi @EphesusTech , Once a Choices are created then you have to create a column in Table which sync with the choices as shown below:

I have created Choices with name TEST and I am creating new column in Table of type Choice and then sync newly created column with global Choice TEST. Then you can use the formula that I suggested in my first response.

Understood. While I frequently utilize the method you outlined, my inquiry pertains to accessing Choice values within the solution itself directly, rather than through a table. If it is not possible, that's OK.

@EphesusTech If you see the definition of Choices function:

Now Choices (which we create in solution or in Dataverse table) aka option set which can be global or local.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/data-platform/custom-picklists

So, if you want to use option set in your PowerApps, then you need to create a custom column of type choice and either sync the global choices aka option set or create a local choices aka option set.
