I want to automate a SharePoint table list so it runs/refreshes at certain given times. I haven't worked with Automating in SharePoint or in general, so this is a new concept for me.

You can try the scheduled flow if you want the flow to do some actions in sharepoint list periodically.
Then you can add some sharepoint actions in flow.
