Populate Word Template - multiple choice field separator

I'm using the Populate Word Template in a Flow. I am pulling items in from a choice field. Because of the multiple items, I'm using a String variable to collect all the choices and then add them to my template. When there are multiple items it puts them on 1 line with no separator. Is it possible to add a separator to the action?

You probably need to add a separator to your append action. Can you send some screenshots, so I can be sure?

I don't know why that didn't click but that was correct. Adding the separator i wanted at the end of the append action worked.
