Excel Focus On Current Row Being Written ?

Hi All,

 

Writing to Excel, Excel is visible.

As data is written to Excel, is it possible to keep the row currently being written to, to be visible ?

Doesn't necessarily need to be centred, but would be nice 😍

As in I want to see the inputs in real time without scrolling down to row 10,000 etc thereby possibly interfering with the flow.

    If you use Send Keys to enter the data, Excel should naturally scroll to the active cell.

     

    So instead of "Write to cell" try "Select (or Activate) cell" and then "Send Keys" whatever data you want to write.

    Hey Mike, just thought I may be missing a trick like " Focus Window ".

    Its writing about 10 vars per row so send keys would be a pain.

    In that Excel text box where you enter the cell address, I automated a type into with below.

    Reason for the +40 is to somewhat centre it

     

    A%FirstFreeRowOnColumn + 40%

     

    It actually works really good 😁 , its not in any loops etc.

    Hi @UK_Mike 

    Using this action will directly jump to the cell specified in the parameters.

    This you can use after getting the first free row.
