Trying to Connect Choice Fields in Forms to Choice Fields in Sharepoint

Hello everyone,

I have a flow that uses forms and publishes that information to a sharepoint list, however, my choice field selection from my form does not show up in my choice fields in my sharepoint list. Is there anyway to remedy this?

Thank you.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Do you mean that the choice field selection from Microsoft Forms cannot be saved to SharePoint Choice column?

I have made a test on my side. A choice field is added in the forms named as Question, and a Choice column is created in SharePoint list named as Status.

The flow is configured likes below. In the Status value field, click Enter custom value then fill in the dynamic content Question from the forms.

It works fine. Please take it for a reference and try it on your side.

    Best regards,

    Hi @v-yamao-msft

I have tried this, however, when I go to my sharepoint list there is nothing published to those fields, they are blank. It also removes the dynamic content from my flow under those certain fields. Is there something I am doing wrong? I am making sure to save my flow after inputting these changes. I appreciate the time.

Can you post a screen shot of your Flow?  That will make it easier to assist.

    Hi @ScottShearer,

Unfortunetly, I can't. Due to the nature of the the work, and having signed an NDA, I would have to omit too much information for it to be helpful. I can create a new flow that simulates what I have, but that would be all I can do.

    Thank you,

I figured out that you need to have the "Allow user to write custom entries" box checked in Sharepoint. Thank you all for your help.

I have this exact situation but I want to allow for multiple selections.

My Form has one question with 6 checkboxes. I haven't been able to get Flow to create the SharePoint list item with those same selections.

Any thoughts when the choice column allows for multiple values?

Do you have both the form & the sharepoint list enabled to have multiple selections?

I'm unable to find "allow user to write custom entries". Could you tell me where to locate it in SharePoint? My organization uses SharePoint Online.

It looks like they changed the box to "Can add values manually". It is under the box that you input your choices into.
