Send Email with Options - User Email, ID, and Tenant ID Not Being Collected

Hello!
I have a "Send Email with Options" action in one of my flows, however, after it is run, it only collects the selected option, not the user's ID, email, or tenant ID, even though those are dynamic outputs I can select from this action (they just appear empty). Does anyone know why this may be? Any help is appreciated, thank you!

    Hello!

When reviewing the flow run details, click on the Send Email with Options action. You should see "Raw Outputs" under the Outputs for this action. Could you send a snip of this output (blur out any sensitive data of course!)

    Thanks,

    Hi,

The most likely root cause is the recipients are guest users and that information cannot be collected.  Please see the tool tips here.  Send your email with options to an internal user to confirm root cause.

I don't have an answer for you, but I can confirm I am seeing the same behavior in one of my older workflows. However, I just created a new flow to see if it returns the data, and it does. I would suggest maybe deleting the action and adding it again.

    Old flow:

    New flow:

I don't know if somehow this made a difference, but in the old flow, I only use the selected option value the flow. In the flow I just created, I added a compose action to pass the values through to see what is generated:

Although as you can see, in the compose action I didn't use the userId value and it was returned from the Outlook action.

I will be interesting to see how this works for others.

    Hello again!
In this flow, I had 2 "Send Email with Options" actions - one was returning the user ID, email, and tenant ID and one wasn't. The only difference between the two was that the one that didn't work only showed the HTML message (so that I could include a link in the email), and the one that did work had the HTML message hidden. I changed the broken one to hide HTML and included the document as attachment instead and that fixed it! Now it's collecting the user's ID, email, or tenant ID! It seems like the user needs to click the button on the non-HTML message for this information to be collected (so even if you have both, the non-HTML must be the one selected - I tested).

Thank you to everyone who tried to help with a solution, I always appreciate it :)
