Help! Form Connector or Form Pro Connector?

Hi Community,

We want to build a quiz and send a certificate of completion if a responder passes the quiz.

Here are several challenges/concerns that I have:

  1. I know that Form Pro links to CDS. however, it seems only to be connected with the default environment. Please confirm that I'm wrong.
  2. I cannot find the quiz data in the CDS. There is no quiz related entity, apart from Form Pro Survey, Form Pro Survey Response, etc. Can you tell me where I can find the quiz data and quiz responses?
  3. I found this article related to Form Connector (https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/introducing-the-microsoft-forms-connector-for-flow/). As I have a trial account of Form Pro, whenever I use Form Connector, it picks up the quiz from Form Pro. I want to know whether this connector works for Form?

Many thanks.

Rachel

    Hi @rachelbp2019 ,

For the first question, please refer to the following document for more details about MS Forms Pro environment. I currently have no way to do tests to further confirm, but I think the data related to Forms in different environments should be stored in CDS in different environments. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/forms-pro/choose-environment

Regarding the integration of Forms and Flow, I tested Send a survey action. In other environments, I can also obtain surveys created in the default environment.

For the second question, I am afraid I cannot give a proper answer. Please consider submitting your question in the Microsoft Forms community:

    https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-forms/bd-p/MicrosoftForms#

For the third question, you can try to create a Microsoft Forms connection in Flow to use your existing account. I think it is possible because my MS Forms portal also displays Forms Pro, but I can also use the same account to create MS Forms connection.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Thanks @v-bacao-msft .

I have posted in Forms forum. Hopefully, someone can get back to me soon.

Surprisingly, the Form trigger can pick up all the surveys/quiz created in multiple environments. As I only have a quiz created in the default environment, this trigger can pick it up, and this flow works as well.

I can use Form connector for Form Pro as well, as the quiz I mentioned above is actually created in Form Pro. However, there are only two actions from Form Pro.

Another trouble is how I can get a final score or individual question score via a flow.

    Thanks.

    Hi @rachelbp2019 ,

If you want to get the response from quiz/survey/form, you only need to use When a new response is submitted and Get response details. The features included in Forms Pro are limited to this as you mentioned, and currently only include those two functions.

Regarding get the score of the quiz, I am afraid that we could not achieve this by Power Automate, we could only get the answer of the people.

Please check user voice and vote for these ideas so that it might be considered:
