Hi,

I need created a flow that export items from canvass app to PDF. I want to include the pictures that was attached to that item.

I was managed to call the name and content type but I want the actual image to be included in this document.

Here's how it looks on the PDF.

attachment.jpg

Here's the flow to get the attachment from Notes.

Attachment_01.jpg

Then I call the variable Attachment in body of the html.

Attachment_02.jpg

Any idea how to get the actual attachment/image from Note table and include that in the PDF document?

Thank you for your help!

Regards,

May

    Hi @mayarnaldo15

    You should embed your picture inside an image control. Therefore, the html code should look like:

    <td>Attachments:</td>
    <td><img src="data:@{outputs('Get_file_content')?['body']['$content-type']};base64,@{outputs('Get_file_content')?['body']['$content']}" />
    </td>

    where "Get_file_Content" is the action to get attachments.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi @mayarnaldo15

    Could you show what is the html source code generated? Maybe there's something missing in the expression and not getting correct values.

    Hi @fchopo ,

    Here's the html code:

    <p>This is a test message<br>
    <img src="data: @{outputs('Apply_to_each_2')?['body']['$content-type']};base64, @{outputs('Apply_to_each_2')?['body']['$content']}" /><br>
    <br>
    </p>

    Thank you for your time 🙂

    Regards,

    M

    Hi @mayarnaldo15

    And why are you referencing "apply_to_each_2" and not "apply_to_each_3" ? What's the source code of the HTML generated? Like

    <p>This is a test message<br>
    <img src="data&colon;image/png; base64 HHKL939303Z==...ee />
    </p>

    It's a matter of referencing the correct action where you get the content.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi,

    I am referencing "apply_to_each_2" as that's where the "Get row by ID".

    attached image.jpg

    I tried the "applied_to_each_3" and I am getting this:

    Apply_each_to.jpg

    This how the html is generated when the flow is successful.

    email.jpg

    Thank you for your time and I really appreciate your help!

    Hi @mayarnaldo15

    Honestly, very difficult to help you at this point... I still don't know why do you need the "apply_to_each_3" action, but in the end, the important part here is that you understand that you need to reference the action where you get the image content, and use the expressions showed in previous answers.

    Ferran
