Possible to create the multiple Environment for power automate free users ?

Hi,

Could you please guide me here ?

I don't have a standalone power automate license whereas I do have the 'Power Automate Free'  & 'Power Automate for office 365' license.

Regarding Environment, I do have a default Environment.  Is it possible to create a multiple environment like Dev, Test and Prod with this license ?

    Hi @VSeenuvasan ,

You should be able to sign-up to a Developer Plan here: https://aka.ms/PowerAppsDevPlan

Use your MS 365 account to sign up and you'll get a developer environment:

Here is one I just setup for a test account. It may take a couple of minutes:

Switch to Power Automate and then select the new environment (Tom Test Account's Environment in the above screenshot).

Developer environments are for development and testing purposes only. They must not be used as the live production environment.

I think you can create upto 3 developer environments. But if you don't use a developer environment within last 90 days, it will be deleted after notifying the environment owners.

Alternatively, ask your Power Platform admin to create the Dev, Test and Prod environments for you.

    Please read the following:

Hi @ekarim2020 - Thanks for your comments. One doubt. If Power platform admin create the environment like dev, Test and production under MS 365 account (No standalone license), then will there be any cost implications ?

Note: I don't need any dataverse.

Can I push my power automation jobs (including standard & and few premium connectors) to these new environments ?

    Hi   @VSeenuvasan ,

There should be no cost to create the environments. See: Enhance your business production with Power Platform - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn

    2024-05-14_21-51-56.PNG

Environments with dataverse do have a maximum capacity for storage: for the database, files (attachments), Logs. Apps, flows utilising Dataverse will consume varying quantities of Database capacity, File capacity, and Log capacity. If you too consume too much data beyond the capacity limits, you will need to pay for additional storage. Demystifying the Microsoft Dataverse Storage Model - ServerSys

Although you can manually move apps and flows from one environment to another, it is recommended to use solutions in Power Platform to move apps and flows from one environment to another.  This approach supports version control, and maintains consistency of your apps and floes across the different environments.  See: Solutions in Power Platform | ALM, Power Apps, flows & Environments (youtube.com)

To use solutions you need dataverse enabled environments.
