Displaying a from after it has been saved to SharePoint

Hello all,

I have a split screen like the picture attached, between a gallery and a form. When clicking on the items in the gallery, it changes the "Item to Review" on the form. When the user is done filling in the information for that item, it is saved as a new row onto a SharePoint list. however, if I click back on the item previously stored in the gallery, I want it to display the information I put in there. How can I achieve this?

Thank you in advance for your help. Screenshot (33).png

OnSelect of the Icon inside the Gallery:

    Set(varSelected,ThisItem)

Then in the Default property of the Gallery:

    varSelected

What is the Items property of your Gallery?  If it is not based directly on the datasource, it will not update on its own.

The items on my gallery are coming from a direct SharePoint list. The form is saving on a separate SharePoint list.

This did not help display the data back onto the form. When I click on an item that I have already filled the information in for, I was it to display back on the form.

What is the Item property of your form then?

The item property of my Gallery is the code below and the Item property of my form is blank as of now. Screenshot (42).png

The issue is with your Item property of the Form.  If you don't supply the record you want to see in the form, then it will not show you anything.

Are you dealing with two forms (a view form and an edit form)?  I ask because you say you CAN see information in it initially about the record selected in the gallery.

At any rate, your EditForm Item property should be reflective of the selected gallery item, either by direct reference or through a snapshot variable.

If by reference, set the Item property to: yourGalleryName.Selected
