You can try calling a vbscript or a VBA macro that will do the refresh.

If you're not into vba etc, this only takes 2 clicks...

Is there any way to create this flow through the cloud, or only through the desktop? Is there a specific flow to perform the update via the cloud?

In Cloud flows at first check if there is a Power Query connector for Excel. Earlier it had one for SQL but for Excel it was about to be released later.

If not then there is a thing called as Office Scripts which can be called from Cloud Flows.

This is where you can find out how to record and generate Office Scripts.

I will also tag @DamoBird365 who could help you in doing this via Cloud Flows.

Im sure there are but I only use PAD to make the flows, occasionally using PA to schedule these desktop flows.

To keep it simple use those 2 actions I suggested then get PA to schedule the desktop flow every hour / day / week / whatever, job done.

Or, to refresh a workbook, send keys Ctrl + Alt + F5.

Im a keep it simple stupid guy 😀
