SharePoint Time Off Calendar; available hours

I've been tasked with creating a SharePoint Time Off calendar for a large team of Customer Service advisors.

Want the advisors to only see what dates have available hours for time off and the amount of hours available that date. This way, they know in advance if their request has a good chance of being approved or denied and waitlisted.

Need to set different total amount of hours allocated on different days and each submission subtracts the approved time from the total allocated. The viewable calendar will display only the available hours left for the day.

Examples:

* Sundays have 100 total allocated hours for the day less 27 submitted hours leaves 73 hours available and viewable to the advisors.
* Mondays 150 total allocated hours for the day less 65 hours submitted leaves 85 hours viewable to the advisors.

* Tuesdays have125 total allocated hours less 24 hours approved leaving 101 viewable on the calendar view, etc.

The total allocated hours to start, need to be updated weekly as business needs change. i.e. change Sunday in two weeks to have 50 hours allocated for the day, Monday in one week have 75 hours allocated, Tuesday in 4 weeks have 60 hours allocated.

Advisors will only submit their requests through the payroll system, separate from this SharePoint list and calendar.  Our workforce management (WFM) team processes those requests and will make the entries in SharePoint for the advisors to see only the amount of hours available in the calendar. Approval notification is separate from SharePoint.

When workforce staff is entering a time off request in a SharePoint Form, need SharePoint to advise the WFM staff member not enough hours available and we can then choose to waitlist the request or override the denial. This will cause some negative numbers available, so the Calendar will need to show 0 hours available.

Any idea how to track those waitlisted would be helpful too.

Thank you.
