hi,
I've built a power app with a data connection to a SharePoint list. I need to set up a flow that sends out an email to a certain recipient when that item is 15 days old (15 days from the date created) AND the status of a drop-down field in the form is in the Not Complete status.
Is there a trigger that would scan the list and then process the flow on a recurring basis? Or do I need some other trigger, like when the SharePoint list is modified? If there needs to be some modification trigger my thought is to add another drop-down field to the SharePoint list. Let's call it Request Status, with the following field values:
- Within SLA (Default)
- 15+
I want the drop-down for the Request Status to change to the 15+ value when it's been 15 days from the date the item was created in the SharePoint list AND if the value of another drop-down field (called Complete Status) is still in Not Complete status. Then when I create the flow, I can set it to when an item is modified and the field value equals 15+.
Thoughts on the best approach and what would be the formulas to use within the power app or Flow to trigger such a request?
Thanks in advance!!
