Hello.

I have a question I was wondering if anyone else have encountered. I have developed a Power App for Teams app that we've been using for a while without problems. Everything worked fine in the old Teams, but in the New Teams, we get an error when trying to add the app to a tab in a Team.

If we click "+" - "Get more apps" - "Built with power platform" - Find the app and click add to a team, as shown below, we get the error in the next picture.

The app now shows up in the app overview for the team and can be added without problems, but the users can't do this trick everytime. It should work directly from "built with power platform", as it did with the old Teams.

Have anyone had this issue? Know of a solution?

When I've had this error in Teams it is usually because the channel I'm trying to add an app to isn't open. If you have it set to shared or private there seem to be restrictions on adding in approved apps. Set the channel to Standard.

Previously, I successfully published two canvas apps—one to a standard channel and another to a private admin channel. However, this functionality no longer seems to be working as of 2024. I would appreciate it if someone could share how to publish to a private channel again.

    Many thanks in advance

    Regards,

    Cheng
