Hi,
We are currently experiencing what appears to be an ongoing incident affecting AI Builder prompts using Code Interpreter for file generation scenarios (e.g. Word document generation) in Copilot Studio.
Existing prompts (and using generating file capabilities with code interpretor) already deployed and running in production continue to work correctly.
However, since recently, creating a new prompt or editing an existing one immediately results in an Internal Server Error from the authoring window, specifically when file generation is involved, almost as if an AI security or validation layer is blocking the operation. (really immmediate, not after failing something like token or size limit or time out)
Using this feature to read complexe document like word still work. Problem start when ask generating file.
It have work since many month , we have project in test phase and production. (and murphy law : test phase started today for one of them....)
Observed behavior:
-Prompts generating files such as Word documents consistently fail.
-The error occurs immediately during prompt creation or edition.
-Previously working prompts also fail after being edited, even without functional changes.
-File reading and analysis scenarios continue to work correctly, including production prompts.
-The behavior is identical regardless of the GPT model used (within supported file constraints).
-Existing prompt with file generation created last year still work from power automate/copilot studio if i don't edit them in the edit prompt windows
I have the problem on at least 3 different environnement (2 customer, my personal mvp tenant too) and inside early access and normal environnement.
Impact:
We currently have ongoing projects with sensitive customers (some currently in ECIF) including scenarios demonstrated during the live french Agents & AI Tour. (so it use to work fine)
This issue currently blocks continued development for document generation use cases. (And as a partner i have a project team blocked)
Could you please confirm whether this is a known issue or an active incident impacting Code Interpreter file generation capabilities?
if by any luck it's not a bug but a intented feature to stop working :) :D feel free to inform
N.B. try to open and "test" existing prompt wich run ok : immediate error, since they customer prompt, i can show here that a simple hellow world is K.O. too - it's since Monday on 3 differents tenant and all environnement, normal, early access, and frontier
