HTTP request trigger timing out when calling an azure function

I am using power automate http request action to call an azure function, but since the function is quite heavy, the request is timing out after two minutes. What should I do? I read that I can use the asynchronous function setting to return a http response = 202 to notify the flow that it is processing, but I'm quite new to azure functions and not quite sure how to do that. Any help on the power automate or azure function side would be helpful.

On the HTTP action, click the three dots at the top right of the action and choose Settings from the menu. You can then change the timeout duration here. The format needs to be in ISO8610 duration format. You can reference ISO 8601 - Wikipedia for more information. To change it to 10 minutes, you would enter PT10M
