Edge Keeps Crashing

Hi,

I am trying to create a PAD flow using Microsoft Edge. Unfortunately, the simplest thing of launching Edge does not work. The browser crashes. I have tried the following:

  • Clearing cache and cookies on exit
  • Disable running in the background
  • Reinstalling the PAD Edge extension
  • Creating a new flow just to launch Edge
  • Ensuring the service user account has the necessary permissions

None of the above seem to have worked. I can send the logs but not sure if there are personal data on there. Let me know.

Thanks

Shaheed

    Hello @shaheedfazal .

Firstly, please ensure that the Power Automate Desktop web extension is installed and enabled in the Edge browser.

Moreover, it would helpful if you could send a screenshot of the action's details (Launch new Microsoft Edge), with the Advanced tab extended.

Also, please check the below and inform me of the results:

    • Check the same step with another browser. Is the execution successful?
    • Please execute in the 'Run command window' (press keyboard shortcut Windows + R to launch it) the following command: msedge.exe --new-window "www.bing.com". Is Edge browser launched and navigated to the Bing web site?

    Thank you!
