Photoshop actions

So i did record a thread that goes like

Open photoshop>ctrl+o(that i have to put manualy because it doesnt recognize 'O')>goes to tree branch clicks on desktop>clicks on the file> goes 3 deep subfolder>resize the image(i made the short cut ctrl+K)>goes to horizontal action>then does the same actions to vertical ones(different action but the result is for that format)>then after this batch prosses is complete it goes to find the same folder but for watermarking(for this i use script-image prosessor ( i made it ctrl+F))> after this is done the same processes starts again but i couldnt figure how to do it for each folder so i just gave mause a increased value in each loop.

Problems: it is buggy,  if 1 folder has 10 picture and the other 100 it stops to work.

sometimes it just cant detect desktop or folders.

Improvements that i can think of: It could go to each folder take every vertical photo and patch edit them(will save a lot of time)

Then does that same thing to horizontal.

opens image prosessor and does every vertical photo(it will automaticly save in that selected folder as a subfolder)

And my guess is i have to take pictures of folders? or desktop

But every folder starts with 001, 002 ,003 and the subfolders are A and B (Both of them a C folder inside and left over photos)

I am new to this automation and any guidance will be appreciated.
