Update Description of a task but not overwriting it

Hello,

I would like to update the description of the task but the result is that is overwritting it instead of append it. I would like to use Description filed to log some actions which are done automatically or manually for a task.

Thanks,

Can you provide more detail on where you are creating the task (i.e. what Office 365 product)?

    Hi @Mircea ,

Please try to refer to the following method to achieve this.

You could use Get task details to get the description first and then append new description.

Finally, add all descriptions to the task details.

    Hi,

I tried this but it's strange it's asking me the Task Id without the option to put it dynamically. Do I miss something?

    Thanks,

    Mircea

    Hi @Mircea ,

Click enter custom value to put task id dynamically.
