New designer editing a flow, old designer in run history

Hello,
I have created a few flows and I have always used the new designer. Some days ago I noticed that when I edit a flow I see the new designer (since that feature is checked) but when I go to the run history to check the details I see the old editor.

I didn't change anything, at least voluntarily. I have tried unchecking and checking again the new designer feature, different browsers and deleting cookies and cache with no luck. How can I fix this? I want to see the new designer in both scenarios, editing the flow and in run history details.

Thanks in advance.

Another piece of the #halfbakedpie.  Just always use the old designer, until the interns figure out how to complete the product.

I don't understand why they derive such pleasure from annoying developers with these annoyances.

    Hi,

Sometimes, the new view comes as default for the flow run details page, but in other cases it displays in the old designer. It seems to be a bug. So far, it looks like it's not possible to restrict it to the new designer only in the flow run details page.

You can manually enable the new designer view in your flow run, you can activate the New view toggle in the top-right corner of your flow run details page:

For now, my recommendation is to provide the feedback to Microsoft. When disabling the new designer in the flow edit page, a feedback form will appear, and you will be able to provide your comments directly to Microsoft.

When using Power Automate, have in mind that the new designer is a new feature and it has some issues that will be fixed along the next months (which is something normal for any software/platform). If you find any other bugs or opportunities for improvement, I also recommend you to send a feedback to Microsoft.

If you have commented any of the actions in the flow then it will revert to the classic designer.

There is no "New view" toggle in the Run History view

And I have no comments in the flow... so weird, I was able to see the new editor in Run History days ago, but now is gone in all of my flows.

    Hi,

Check your flow run page URL. You must find a v3 query set as equals to false:

Change it to true, so you can enable the new designer:

This is how my url looks, no query at all

Adding the ?v3=true at the end does nothing, it still uses the old editor
