Teams notification when user assigned to a SharePoint list field

Hi guys,

I hope for a little help here. I want to create an individual Teams notification when a SharePoint list item is assigned to a person.

I have a 'Assigned person' column in a list, and when I assign person to that field I would like that person to get notification on Teams that an item was assigned to her. If it's not possible on Teams maybe e-mail at least?

Could you please help me with the flow here?

    Hi @Maieev ,

Could you please tell me whether your Assigned person column supports single selection or multiple selection?

You can create two flows, the first is triggered when the assigned person of an existing item is modified, and the second is triggered when a new item is created.

    flow1:

    Hi @v-dezhili-msft ,

it's a single selection column, so I think the first flow is better as I assume it's notifying only when this field is changed? Also is it notifying only that person assigned to the item? Another question is, can I create one flow to operate on multiple lists having Assigned person column or I need to build separate flows for every list I have?

    Thanks!

    Hi @Maieev ,

Yes, it only notifies the person assigned to the item.
If you have multiple lists, you need to create multiple flows, because each trigger can only monitor one list.

    Hi Dezhi,

Does your solution work even if the Person column allows for multiple selections?

    Hi @v-dezhili-msft,

Is there a similar solution where Person field in Sharepoint list has multiple people and you want to notify them all when new record is added or existing record is modified?
