Broken citations in MS Teams

We have a couple of bots created in Copilot Studio and published to MS Teams. Until a few days ago, citations were displayed correctly. Currently, the citation numbers are visible, but the links are not present. This issue persists in MS Teams, although it still works correctly in Copilot Studio.

This is not the first occurrence; typically, it is resolved by Microsoft within a day. However, it has been a few days, and the issue remains unresolved.

In the interim, I have implemented the solution suggested in the forum post “Solved: Citations / references not showing in the chat in Teams but working in PVA (powerplatform.com).” I built an Adaptive Card that assembles the answer with citations from the JSON response.

I am inquiring whether Microsoft is aware of this issue and working on a fix, or if it would be more reliable to continue using the provided solution to avoid recurring disruptions.
