List not showing up

Hello,

I'm trying to create a flow that links a calendar to a list. I created a list - but it's not showing up in the drop down when I go to create a flow.

Here are screenshots of 2 attempts. I have shared the list with colleagues and it comes up when I go to sharepoint // lists.

The error message showed up when I tried to copy and paste the name of the list into the field:

Does anyone know how to create a list that shows up? Thank you!

Hi @Anonymous

I have seen this behaviour before. Not sure what's causing this issue. I will suggest a work around for this.

Click Enter custom value and enter the List name manually. Save the flow.

Click the back button to main menu. Edit the flow again. It should populate the list.

Hello Abm,

Thank you for the response. I have tried copying and pasting the name and url etc (directly from list settings) but no luck.

The list doesn't show up when I search for it on sharepoint. When I go to site contents, there isn't a link to lists. I can only navigate to the list by going directly into the list app, not from the sharepoint app. So maybe it has something to do with that?

In the list settings I've shared it with other users who are part of my organization/site. And I ticked the box to say that the list should be visible in the quick launch menu (but it's not).

When you directly access what's the url (Site and listname)? Could you copy the URL here?

Hi!

For some reason the list I created in my list app was hidden. Didn't know how to change that. So then:
went into Sharepoint and 'add app'
clicked 'classic experience'
'custom list'
'add' and gave the list a name
this created a list that does show up on the site contents and
that list shows up in the flow (and I shared it with myself so it shows up in my list app as well.
Not sure why the list I created within the new list app doesn't show up on Sharepoint. But, hey - it's working! (for now)
