I have created an approval process for when I add a new SQL record in Power APPS. It works well with regular use. The basic concept is that a record is created, approval is required by the school administrator and then once approved goes to the teacher for approval. However, I needed to add 1500 records to SQL and from previous experience, I knew that I could not add them all at once. I found that if I add 45 records at once, 39 approval emails were sent to the principal and six did not go. Then I would have to delete the six SQL records and re-enter them. I have been adding 30 at a time, however now the principals are approving at the same time that I am adding and on the last batch of 30 records, principals only received 10 of the records.
I had cc'd myself on the flows and that is how I have kept track. Once the principal approves, I also get an email that the teacher would get but I am not tracking those.
I know that the teachers have mentioned in the past that they did not receive an email.
I have created 758 SQL records in the last few hours, the users have created an additional 100 records using the APP and the principals have approved 550 records, so traffic is high right now.
Is there a limit to the traffic for one flow? We use Office 365 and have the premium package.
Hi @Anonymous,
About limit to the traffic for one flow you can refer to this document:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/flow/limits-and-config
For the question teachers have not received an approve email, you could create a remind email to the user.
After receiving the feedback to determine whether need to send approve email again.
I hope it can help you.
