Hello All,

I am trying to get this flow to work for an import we require, I have setup an SFTP server, that bit all works fine, connecting to the SFTP server works fine too with an SFTP client, its tested and I know its working, the firewall rules are all in place as well and not part of the issue.

I have setup an account for the email which has been accepted fine, I am setting up the SFTP in the flow and I cannot get it to connect properly, when I do a test connection with its settings azure can be seen connecting to the SFTP 3 times in quick succession, but it then disconnects straight away each time, its then repeatedly failing with the "BadGateway" error, when I hit F12 on the browser, I can see more information showing below:-

GET https://europe-001.azure-apim.net/apim/ftp/shared-ftp-fca32f2d-48ad-40df-9c81-103c-e592f491/datasets/default/folders 502 (An FTP protocol violation was detected. This could be caused by an implicit TLS/SSL configuration of the FTP server that is not supported. Please try explicit TLS/SSL.)

I am using Bitvise SSH server for the SFTP Server and I have followed multiple settings with zero success on there now.

If I swap to another SFTP server product, I then get Certificate Errors of a different kind which seem to be relating to the certificate.

Has anyone had success in using this flow and if so can they point me in the right direction in terms of what I should be using as a server and does anyone have a guide as to how to set this up, as Google hasnt been successful helping in that so far for me?

Can anyone point me in the right direction relating to setup of the SFTP server, as I think thats the last hurdle that its failling on now for me ?

Thanks,

Richard

    Hello,

I followed the guide and created a specific VM on azure and sorted it all out, its still doing the same and connecting but giving the badgateway error and the 502 error shown above, I can connect to the boxes fine on an SFTP client

I am at a loss now how to get this working after following that guide as I want to use SFTP over non-secured and it will not connect that,

    Thanks,

    Richard
