Hello,  need understanding why the FLOW, when creating a condition between "Modified by" and "Created by" accept and result to be through, where as in a document library the created by - is a different person and the modified by - is another person.  However, with the condition used Modified by is equal to created by - if yes do this if no do this but the list/library is totally diffrent for created by and modified by, how come FLOW Conditon resulted to true expression?

this is the "Modified by" is equal to "Created by"

When running the FLOW

My List or Document library the Created by is not the same as the Modified by?  How can I redo or resolved this dont understand why flow resulted to true.

Regards,

Ian

    Hi @IC ,

Could you share the full screenshots of Flow configuration?

It's worth noting that in SharePoint library, if you create or upload a new file, Created by and Modified by default are the same person.

So the judgment result is true, the logic here is no problem.

It is recommended to use Create by Email to compare with Modified by Email, because the type of Created by and Modified by is Object.

You could try to output the file name. After the Flow is run, check the file name to see if the current file's Created by and Modified by are the same person.

    Hi Barry,

Thanks for the information.  this make sense, it is an object and some more based on your screenshots I have to create a variable or compose to declare those fields in order to work.  I will try this one.  Thanks so much!
