Sharing a Flow template

Hello, guys,

I have created a Flow template and I need to share it to hundreds of users in my organization.
Excepting "send a copy" option and "export" -> "import" option is there any other option?

Any advice would be more than welcome.

    Re: Sharing a Flow template

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Thanks for sharing definition of the flow. I have an experience working on the similar requirement how to centralize receiving emails for multiple users and proceed. One option is using Graph API to call the Power automate to trigger. However, this consume a lot of API calls from an account and it reaches out to API limit very quickly. So, provided a suggestion exporting/importing the Power automate by end-user.

I know that this is a bit complex for non-technical users but as of now there is no way to import/create a Power automate on behalf of end users. Sharing detailed documentation/action steps with the Power automate package would be the best approach now.

    Hope this helps. Thanks.

    Best regards,

    Jisung Han

I agree with @JisungHan . You will have to educate your users(specially updating the connection).

As mentioned in my previous email, I always share this link as it includes a nice walk through of how to import the Flow.

    Re: Sharing a Flow template

    Hi @Anonymous ,

As far as I know, there is no another option that admin can create flows to end users. Only way to implement a flow to end user side is letting them to import the flow package the admin exported.

If you can share the flow logic that you want to implement with us, we will help to review it and consider implementing this differently.

    Best regards,

    Jisung Han

Thank your for your reply, @CFernandes.

But "normal" sharing option is not an option for me, because the Flow template should be connected to each user's account, not to my account.

Concerning, "import" -> "export" option as I said it's not option, because not all my colleagues have minimum IT skills and when we speak about hundreds of users it can be time consuming to do it hundreds time.

    Hey Mate,

If you are sharing a flow within your organization you can create a Team Flow https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/create-team-flows

If you want to Share the Template and if you want other to use it then you can (Export and import it). I always share this link as it includes a nice walk through of how to import the Flow.
