Hello,

Since this is the way it works (as per picture), I can not hide  `approved by` info in the approval request.

Is there a way to change, in already created approval flow, the account info that cretated the flow, by replacing with another account ?

Or do I have to create a new flow under different generic account ?

Thanks.

    Hi!

I guess you can create a new connection with the generic account credentials, then edit your current flow and switch from the old connection to the new one.
    Good stuff here:

@Antibes its called a service account with a never expiring password, MFA disabled etc. So even if the owner of the flows leaves the organization your flow would continue working.

    Hi, @efialttes

I need to change an approval owner/connection (#2) and not to add a new connection (#1).

Otherwise, I am stuck with with the requested by: aperson.who.created.an approval.flow@geegl.com  all the time a new approval mail is sent. (second picture).

    Hi again!
Thanx for your detailed explanation, probably I did not explain myself properly. Please check step 2 on your screenshot. Just below it, there is the option to create a new connection for Approvals. Does it offer you the chance to create a new one and add different credentials? A similar strategy to the one suggested in this thread (please note thead is related to 'Office 365 outlook')

Not in my laptop, unable to test

    Hi @efialttes

I have understood your recomendation, but:

you wrote : Does it offer you the chance to create a new one and add different credentials?
The answer is: no it did not wok for me, it ended up with an error. I gave up o this one since the issue is a common one and there was no clear guidline to solve it.

What I ended up doing was :

    1. creating a new account (flow.manager@..
    2. Under this new account, created a test flow with an Approval connector inside .
    3. Exported the flow from my personal account (.zip)
    4. Imported the flow under newely created account and during the import , changed Aproval connector from my personal account to flow.manager one.
    5. Then i shared the flow with my personal account , to have it under control from there.

    Thanks, Antibes
