Create an external sharing link for a pictures "original view"

Hi all,

I have an issue with my flow: On my sharepoint library I have several PNG's with known name. I want to create external accessable sharing links directly to the "original view" of the picture using a flow. After clicking on the sharing link, it should not be necessary to click on "view original" to get this kind of view. Unfortunately this issue isn't just a nice to have, because I need the sharing link as an input for another app.

Thanks a lot in advance

Thomas

    I don't get what u mean by on original view but what u can do is loop on your list, call the create shareable link action of sharepoint and then save the shareable link in another column so that you can use it in your other app.

    Better approach is to generate it when you need it in the other app if you could explain a little bit more, it would be great.

    @Mira_Ghaly

    Thank you for your response, I try to explain it in more detail: If i create an external accessable sharing link to a picture in sharepoint I always come to this kind of view:

    But I need a external sharing link, which leads me to the "orignial view" of the picture (accessable via the button "view original", see in upper picture). The view I need for moving on in the other app is this one ("original view"):

    Thanks a lot in advance

    Does anyone have an idea? Really would need a solution for this issue.

    Thanks in advance.

    Although not the intended use case. You could use the HTTP method I described in this blog post:

    https://www.tachytelic.net/2021/02/power-automate-embed-image-email/

    The flow was built for sharing images in an email, but this would work just as well for your purpose.

    @Paulie78 Thank you for your answer and your blog post. Like you mentioned in your posting, one disadvanatge of the http solution is, that a premium connector must be used. I have to achive a solution for my issue unfortunately without using a premium connector. I forgot to share this boundary condition, sorry for that. Do you have another idea, without using premium connectors?

    Thanks in advance, Thomas
