Consolidate new items in Teams channels into a weekly email?

Hi,

I am looking into the art of the possible. We have, in our organisation, a departmental Teams channel, with a number of sub channels under it. Some users use these channels to post useful information and/or use it like a micro blog.  However footfall on these channels is very low, and users may miss some useful or important information despite mentions being used.  Whilst this isnt a full solution to that, I thought it would be useful to send out a consolidation email on a weekly 2 weekly basis, saying this new message has appeared in this channel.  The question being is there something I can build in Power Automate that does that for me, where it can trawl Teams for new messages, not replies, and then give a summary in an email that goes to a distribution list.

    Hi @Jezter12

One approach is to store the teams message in a SharePoint list when a new message is added to teams channel and then using schedule flow, we can filter the last week records from the same SharePoint list and send the records to the required person or group on weekly basis.

    Here are the both flows:

    1. Store teams messages in SP list:

here I am using Title field but you should use multiline text field.

    2. Schedule flow to get the items which are added in past 7 days:

If this helps, please remember to give a 👍 and accept my solution as it will help others in the future.

    Thanks

Thank you, that looks like a good way to accomplish this.
