I've a form with the option to upload files.

The problem is theres no default way to move the location these are saved to.

What I want is powerautomate to people able to take the images and put them to the desired location.

Note this would have to function when there's no pictures uploaded as they're optional.

Also Im new to this so I'm only know the basics so you might need to spell it out a bit more to me

To handle optional file uploads from a form and move those files to a desired SharePoint location using Power Automate, here’s a practical approach:

    1. Trigger: Start your flow with the form submission trigger (e.g., "When a new response is submitted" for Microsoft Forms).
    2. Get File Content: Use the appropriate action to get the uploaded file(s) content. If multiple files can be uploaded, loop through each file.
    3. Check for Files: Since uploads are optional, add a condition to check if any files were actually uploaded. For example, check if the file array is empty or if the file content is null.
    4. Move or Create Files in Desired Location:
    • If files exist, use the SharePoint "Create file" action to save each file to the desired SharePoint folder or document library path.

    • You can dynamically set the folder path based on metadata or form responses.

    5. Handle No File Scenario:

    • If no files were uploaded, the flow should simply skip the file creation steps and continue without error

Yes, this can be achieved using Power Automate, and it's a common approach when you need to move uploaded files to a different location after a form

    submission.

The exact implementation depends on where the files are currently being stored (Microsoft Forms, Power Apps, SharePoint, Dataverse, etc.), but the overall

    process is similar.

So the flow itself follows this process

When a new response is submitted

    Get response details

Initialise Variable (This is for action dates based off Form severity)

    Switch for Severity answers

    Compose Variable with submission date

    Get User Profile

    Send email

    Add row into a table

The files/images go to the sharepoint documents/apps/microsoft forms/potential NCR Submissions/Pictures

I want them to go in a folder in a specific channel on teams
