Create email from data in Power Apps using Power Automate

Hello experts.

I appreciate any help you can give.

I have a SP list that contains information that I'd like to have posted in an email with a click of a button.

This information format will be the same for any new item created in the list.

  • I would like for the email to automatically take people(s) listed in the Main POC, Stakeholder, or SME email fields.  Keep in mind, that SME or SH, might contain more than one person.
  • I would then like the Subject of the email to be a couple of pieces of Dynamic Content that are already populated in the SP List.
  • Finally, the Body of the email would contain other Dynamic Content that is in the SP List.  I would just format to a regular email.

I'm hoping that I can have a one-press button to create this email and the fields be populated from the setup in PowerAutomate.

Here's what has happened.

  • I have gone to my PowerApp and created the Flow.
  • I add a Step after the PowerApps that Get Item from my list in SharePoint
  • I then create a Send an email (and this is where it all blows up in my face)
  • It asks for "Select an output from previous steps."  I chose Ask in Power Apps because I would like it to be whatever item was selected from my gallery.
  • I then select the Dynamic Content for To:, Subject, and Body
  • I save and try to Run.

This doesn't work at all for me.  Essentially, I am trying to replicate this setup from this video https://youtu.be/2lPsgSZR2pw?t=174

It isn't working for me.

THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP you can give to me.

Take care
