Flow sending multiple approval mails when an existing item is modified in SharePoint list

I have a flow where it checks items in Sharepoint list and triggers approval mail for 1st level. If 1st level is approved it should trigger for 2nd level approval. The flow is triggering 2 or more emails for 1st level approval MS Flow.PNG

    I changed trigger to when an item is created and it stopped sending multiple mails.

    @rohentz ,

    Trigger used is "When an existing SharePoint list item is modified, complete a custom action". There is no custom action added.

    The flow triggers when SharePoint list gets updated through MS Forms and based on a logic it updates approvers in Sharepoint list and flow triggers for 1st level approval and as i said earlier it flow is triggering 2 or more approval mails. Approval gets updated in the list and another flow triggers 2nd level approval.

    Hi @prade97 how are you?

    @prade97 the trigger used looks like the "when an item is created or modified" right?

    At you flow, do you have any step that changes the item or another flow doing this?

    Maybe is another operation causing the flow to run. Check the executions at flow page and add some columns to identify the item like below, hit "Edit columns"

    With this maybe identify the records will help on check the behavior.

    If more help is needed maybe a support case with us can help to check this behavior.

    Best regards
