Determining Recipient Based on form answer

Hello,

I'm trying to set up a process where Power Automate takes a response from Form and makes a decision on who to send an email to. For example, if in the "country" question in MS Form someone answers "Spain" or "Mexico" the emails gets sent to the Spanish team, if they answer "France" or "Canada" it gets sent to the French team etc.

Thanks,

Peter

    Hello @knowltonpeter

    • You can use a condition, if you just have two languages.
    • Use a switch statement if you have multiple languages.

    Condition example - https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Power-Automate/Using-specific-answers-in-Forms-as-conditions-in-a-flow/td-p/190305

    Switch Statement - https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Power-Automate/switch-control-with-flow-and-forms/m-p/208181/highlight/true#M22225

Thanks. Is there a way to combine them (group languages) or do I have to do a separate case for each language? We have over 100+ languages.

    Hey @knowltonpeter

I think switch case has a limit of 25 cases ☹️. You can group them and maybe try using Multiple conditions in an single condition.

Another option would be ask user select their preferred language on the Form and then depending on the language route the Form to respective teams.

    A good article would be - https://sharepointmaven.com/3-ways-to-build-multiple-conditions-in-microsoft-flow/

One last question. So there is no way for me to do an OR function in a Case? For example, Case equals French OR German
